That one has been around for a while. It was I one of the LR mags not too long ago too.
The guy that built it has obviously lavished a lot of money and effort on it, but to say his estimate of its' worth is exaggerated is an understatement 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? I think he is banking on it being bought and exported to the USA in the next couple of years where it is probably a realistic price ....

Maybe. I'm not sure how advertising it in Yorkshire helps though.
It's always billed as a 'show car' too, whatever that is. I've never been to a Land Rover show where that amount of chrome would go down well. Perhaps he should have bought a Toyota 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Defender show vehicle, FFS what a contradiction in terms
Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster but owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.. Now long gone. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

You could build an even better truck than that for 34k

Don't understand that sort of thing myself - but each to his own....
2 things though - why the red front lights? No car has that so what's the point, even for a 'show vehicle' Also - which is very strange on a 'show vehicle' - if you open the full size pic from the front page on the website it is zoomable - zoom in on the front number plate.... has the old holes in it from where it was previously screwed on, and said holes are stained and cracked ! If you are putting all the bling on, surely a few quid on a new plate isn't gonna break the bank! |

I think he is copying the NAS (North American Spec) Land Rovers ... Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Not sure why the link doesn't work for some
Think it's over the top horribleness. There is a time to stop tinkering and spending money |
