How far can handbrake vibration travel?
Is it possible that handbrake drum banging/movement is carried efficiently through the transfer box and into the gearbox where it interferes with gear changing?

I noticed today that when coasting (clutch in) with the brake drum banging away, pushing the stick from neutral to third got a lot of "knocking" action (similar to what I usually get when driving). Feathering the handbrake got rid of the banging and neutral to third became smooth...

think on skimming the drum. I know by experience drums can wobble a lot. What about you lost some balance weighs from the props Puma 110" SW

Think the props are okay but skimming the drum may be an idea - just need to get through the next 2 years and LR aren't having much luck - must be a lot of "bad drums" out there... I've had 2 already Rolling Eyes Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
