I am interested in this as well as I need two front door ones in grey (electric window version) for my TD5 project.

Some of the prices out there are mad ! I am looking at new or used (provided the fixings are intact).

The problem with mine are the plastic lugs moulded into the card, the bit that the stud slides onto, are broken.

Still trying to work out if I can sort out a fix - could be a long job Laughing

LR Centre in Liverpool sell them-although they only sell manual window versions. I got mine from there a while back, and they were pretty good quality

Hope that helps Very Happy

Now don't turn your noses up, but I needed black door cards for mine, for TD5 with leccy windows, and I got Britpart ones! They were a decent price (don't ask me what though, it was over 2 years ago!) and are fine.

I broke a load of the clips off mine ( Embarassed ) but managed to repair them with superglue Whistle The clips aren't really under that much stress when the card is mounted, only when it's taken off.

Thanks Brendan.

Couple of problems, I want grey not black and the info on Mud's site is not quite right re what doors are fitted to post 2001 defenders. I have just spent three days trying to get new doors for my 90, which is a 2002 MY but a 2001 reg, Sept reg so one of the first 2002 MY's and well within the vin range for the new shaped door frame. It has aluminium door skins and not steel as quoted on Mud's site but it has the steel profile as shown.

If you have manual windows it is not a big issue but with electric windows it is expensive if you get the wrong ones, new regulators, new back plate, new shedders etc. That is before you get to the door cards Thumbs Up

I may have answered the mystery of why my doors do not match those on the Mud site and why the door frame has broken.

Can't confirm 100% until the new doors arrive, should have been here today but were delayed by some sort of bad weather somewhere, can't understand what as it has been sunny here all day until the hailstorm from hell about an hour ago Rolling with laughter

I reckon the doors have been replaced with older second hand ones not intended for electric windows.
Bodgit and Scarper have then made the inner plates for the electric windows fit and caused stress in the cast part of the frame and this has given up eventually.

It the theory is correct I may just get a pair of the Mud cards in black, at least I will know they will fit Thumbs Up

As I said above, try Britpart - local indy LR specialists usually have them on their lists, if you can't buy direct.

Just had two Britpart door cards for the TD5 delivered this morning.

They appear to be very good quality and will certainly do the job Thumbs Up
