Oily breather valve
Have been running the td5 in my 300tdi 130 for a couple of months now, and having had the ecu remapped, goes far better than my 300tdi ever did.

One thing I have noticed is that there is oil accumulating around the breather valve at the end of the pipe from the cam cover. does this mean something bad, or just that the valve needs changing?

I noticed that it is held on to the pipes by crimped collars, so imagine that small jubillee's will be needed if I put on a new valve?

Do the valves get blocked?

Any other reason for oil around this area?

Not usually an issue but there is a chance that the pipe is split and leaking some oil.
