Standard, but less successful on very early models. Something to do with the throttle map that was changed early on because of a tendency to stall! I guess most would have been picked up and corrected at a service in the first year or two though. Darren

Excellent fun, works just like my 90 300tdi auto Annoys hell out of drivers behind in a traffic light queue in 1st

I have a 1997 TD5 which is very stallable, chipped mind I wonder if that over rides the anti stall. It defo has abs and traction control though.

Mine's chipped and the anti-stall still works a treat. IRB did mine.
