no idea about the paint but I did see the TV programme "the petrol age" this week which had a bit on land rover,
in it there was some defenders no a reccie I think that where mainly white but with bits of orange, sounds odd but they looked GREAT, This link may work (15 mins in) http://go.sky.com/vod/content/SKYENTERTAIN...ilsPage.do HTH Mark |

I would have thought your Brother in law would be the best guy to advise you, especially if he is the one who is going to paint the Defender for you.
Different manufacturers systems have different application methods, so the system he is most familiar will be best. Professional automotive paint is extremely expensive, so you need to get it right first time. Especially if you are choosing white ( White is a very forgiving colour), consider 1 pack, it will be much cheaper. Richard Either a 90, 110 or 130. Discovery 5 |

A metallic white or especially pearlecent white would be nice! Just not solid otherwise it'll be like a van

Cheers lads, looking at enamel as another option.
It's as much about function as form. Enamel paint seems tough, and is easier to "patch up" due to its commercial use it gets quite scratched. Good things come to the wild and free |
