Normal or variable intermittence for the rear wiper
I have post this infos on the "5 best mods made on your Defender" but I think it is better to start a new post.

A. NORMAL INTERMITTENCE FOR THE DEFENDER REAR WIPER(using the OLD front Land Rover relay)

Have you a standard/original Land Rover wiper ECU in your hand?

The green-white cable of position 6 of the base must be put on position 1

B. VARIABLE VOLKSWAGEN INTERMITTENCE FOR THE DEFENDER REAR WIPER

FOR A MORE REFINED SOLUTION, Thank you to BarneyRubble for adding the VW variable timer to the rear wiper

download here the BarneyRubble pdf

Works like the front - press the switch, let it wipe, switch it off, wait until you want it to wipe again, switch it on, and leave it - the wipers operate on intermit at the time you left between switching off and back on again.

dgardel, thanks for the post Smile

Ok, scrub that question, I found the answer in the other thread Embarassed The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen.

Resurrecting an old thread..

i'd like to add this mod to my 2012 Tdci having done the frot wiper years ago, but depsite searching can't find a set of instructions - just the wiring diagram in the link above. Whilst I can probably follow it, I don't want to make too much of a pigs ear of it. Are there any instructions anywhere - the links here are all broken Sad

Thanks,

H
