Ay - what's this?
Found this bit of HD foam rubber sticking out from under the front protection plate.
Has a sticky surface on one edge.
Not sure if was thrown up there by a tire or it fell off some part of the engine compartment.
Anyone know what type of road kill this is?

GIven the length of it the only thing I can think of is some form of padding around the fan guard, intercooler or radiator. That's assuming it's off the Puma and like you said not roadkill. 110 2.4TDCi

On some early models there is a strip of foam that runs on top of the chassis legs at the point where it passes under the bottom of the bulkhead. I am not sure if it is both sides but I know that it is on the near side.

while searching for where this rubber came from I noted when you pull on the bottom of the fan cowling it seems to be able to rattle around quite freely.
Can someone have a look and check theirs for this float next time you are lying under your rig. (wondering why the hell you bought one)
