hello all,another problem has occured in the last few days with my 300tdi110 csw.i have just got the fuel gauge working again by taking the sender out of the tank and fiddling around but now when the gauge gets down to about a quarter of a tank the vehicle struggles for fuel and i reckon it should be good for about another 100 miles.any ideas anyone please? Question

How much fuel can you get in the tank when it gets to ¼ full?

i dont fill it up unless i go on a long run but i think the gauge is reading accurately

hi laurie i have filled the tank and it took about £70 so i think it is reading correctly

Simple problem mate as I've done it myself. You have reversed the 2 fuel lines on the top of the tank. Fuel return vs. fuel uptake. Switch the 2 lines and you'll be back in business. Dennis M
