Training
Has any one used any of the training companies in Essex/Suffolk for off roading / recovery?

also on a not unrelated note am i right in saying that if your using a land rover off road to do recovery in a commercial setting you need a Lantra or something simmiler, to keep HSE/insurers happy?

you dont have to use Lantra although this is prob the most popular.

in my experience most insurance companies are happy enough with certification of the course completed or a certificate of competence.

not used any up around your way, Goodwinch do it down here though. Cheers

Your best bet will be:

A. Talk to your insurance company, at the end of they they are the ones covering you if you have an accident.

B. Get in contact with your local 4x4 response http://www.4x4response.net/. THey will have a HUGE wealth of knowledge off all the places around your way who do courses and what quals you will get out of it- Maybe even join and put something back Thumbs Up
