Dave

I like the idea but in real terms what chance is there for this succeeding? How many other E petitions have been acted upon by the Govt of the day?

THis is not being negative just interested if anyone has facts and figures to ascertain whether they actually listen to what the masses actually want. 110 D250 SE HT

WRONG!!!

Taken from the e petition website today

This e-petition has received the following response:

This e-petition has reached 100,000 signatures. The Government has notified the Backbench Business Committee in the House of Commons who will consider its suitability for debate when Parliament returns in September. This e-petition will remain live, and people will be able to continue adding their signatures.

See red text. So it's not a given that it will be debated 110 D250 SE HT

Just thought that it would be good to post something truthfull on the web. Another gripe of mine is people posting information that isn't quite the truth or correct. Not that it seems to bother you Rolling with laughter 110 D250 SE HT

Built, or registered ??

Have a good friend with a Volvo 144, Registered 13 Jan 1973
No problem he thinks, get Volvo to confirm the actual build date, must be late 1972 you would think

Wrong,, Built and signed off 4 Jan Shocked
So loaded on a boat, shipped to the UK, sent to dealer and registered in 9 days !!
Try that today, most stand in the dealers yard until they can be bothered to pdi them !! sometimes California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
