It's been for sale for a long time Confused I wonder why at 28K Shocked Laughing It's not a pre-pro model, one of those went a couple of years ago for 25K or 35K cannot remember but it was nicely restored!

That SIIA pickup looks like a right laff. The one I'd like most is the ambulance though, to turn into a camper. Might need re-powering though, I doubt a 2.25 petrol would pull a fully loaded camper at tolerable speeds....

The Range Rover 6x4 is interesting. I drove a Range Rover similar to that at the Fire Service College in Glos about 20 years ago. The college occupies a former RAF base at Moreton-in-Marsh and uses the old runways for fireground training and simulations. I think it was a base for Lancaster bombers in the 2nd World War.

The 6x4 was frighteningly quick, I saw 100mph on the speedo. Great in a straight line but it turned slower than the Exon Valdez! I don't believe the one I drove is the same model 6x4 as advertised, the rear bodywork had large alloy roller shutter doors concealing rescue gear.

Nice though.

I've been lusting after the eighty-inch for a long time. Trouble is I'd be the biggest bore - every party I went to it would be a case of "... and you know, it was the first one sold in Dorset!"
The IIA is a thing of beauty: I hope whoever buys it (if only I had the space) will keep the bodywork as is and not spray it. Cool Peter
