i have used the waxoyl hand pump kits with sucess in the past. using a compressor makes it much easier and you get a better finish but you do use more product.
don't know exactly about the Dinitrol kit but would presume you could apply it with a hand pump. Cheers James 110 XS Utility 130 Puma Station wagon/camper (in the making) 90 Puma Hardtop |

Dinitrol do aerosol kits which are very good, go to Rejel.com, product code DIN02L is a kit for a 90 & 110 using aerosols, I use this kit, very good and comes with extension nozzle, boiler suit, mask, gloves etc.
How to go about this and other jobs is all detailed in our forums rust proofing guide here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic10467.html |

Thanks Martin, I will do that. I had to grind off a bolt or two to get my steps off and noticed it was rustier than I remembered under there.
Much appreciated. Edited to say thanks a million for the guide, its fab. Craig |

@Zagato, Chris have you changed your name to Martin? Or are you really Martin in disguise? And as this is your forum is Zagato an undercover alias to find out what we all think about you? Paranoia is setting in

You can do it with a hand pump but it's hard work and results can be mixed. Your local tool hire place will probably hire you a smallish compressor and Machine Mart will flog you a usable gun & lance. Unless you have a heated workshop where you can get the vehicle dry it really is a job best left for the summer. Steve.
