Maggiolina Safari Rooftent
Decided to sell my Maggiolina, it isn't going to get any use next year so may as well move it on rather than have it sit around.

Bought it second hand in August to use for the rest of the challenge season, it had just returned from an exped to Africa with it's original owner.

It's a Safari, size small but the girlfriend and I fit quite happily in it. There's a few marks on the outer case as you might expect for a 3 year old tent but nothing that ever bothered me - some of them may well polish out with a bit of effort...

The fabric is in excellent condition, got battered with rain at the Decider Challenge and never let a drop through. The mattress is a little worn but once covered with a sheet it hasn't made the slightest difference. There's an expanded rubber/foam mat under the mattress to reduce condensation too.

Comes complete with fixings, telescopic aluminium ladder, fly sheet, internal light and internal hanging storage.

Paid £830 for it, looking for £725ovno.

Located in Oxford, more photos available on request when I get back from Scotland in the New Year.

Someone has got a bargain there. Thumbs Up

A Safari went on ebay recently for £850. Owner admitted he paid £800 for it 2 years ago and just come back from a 1 year trip in it!

Shows good quality gear does hold its value!

Now there's no need to be nasty is there! Censored It's not like I force anyone to buy my stuff...

Lots of people saying that this was a bargain - maybe so, but it's paid for itself easily in the few months I've owned it plus I got a quick, hassle-free sale - I'm more than happy!

Brendan, will be in touch in the summer ref ordering a new one in for my return from Afghan...
