Porthole Windows?
Has anyone fitted the "porthole" windows in a van? By that I mean the small one's near the cab to improve visibility/let in light. I don't want a full country conversion, but like the idea of more light. Any advice/links/pictures much appreciated.

My mate had some triangular ones in his van back which looked tidy enough. I will dig out a picture

Ace! They look perfect. Don't suppose you have any idea where here got them from?

Cheers,

As a bit of a thought, thinking about those with dogs has anybody thought about the windows used in horse boxes? There's a wide range of sizes, when I had a 90HT a few years ago I saw a 110DC with an Ifor Williams back on the pick-up part with a horsebox window in the front side panel on both sides. These windows are opening along the lines of Series door windows and looked a great idea for gaining that extra bit of over the shoulder visability and getting another ventilation point(as if we need any more Whistle )The only reason I didn't go with the idea was because I sold the 90 and ended up with a 110SW but the idea has stuck in my mind.

Something along these lines: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Horsebox-Sliding...84b9044abe

You could always just fit the alpine roof windows, they make a world of difference. Alternativly you could probabbly source a roof with them already installed.

Alpines will be going in, I just like the idea of more junction visability, not that it's a huge problem, just bugs me every now and then Good things come to the wild and free
