Hi I have same fitted
Mine does not open fully but to be honest if it was much of a problem I would have thought you could move the bracket or the mounting 1or2cm to getit opening fully.

Since fitting mine it has been brilliant

5star enhancement Thumbs Up

Only downside is if you have dogs that jump out when the door is opened as it now opens easily & quickly you need to be quicker to stop them jumping out or better still train them to sit & wait Very Happy 2020 P300 HSE

This is what I did, so that I can still load my rear door pocket/net and use the draw.

Does this door strut really push the door open hard? We were in Normandy this weekend and in the wind and rain and on a side slope the door didn't stand a chance of staying open. Will the strut open the door on a side slope? I hope so, i think this is my next essential mod.

I wouldnt say 'hard open' on a side slope .. but mine holds open at least 3/4 of the way on about 30 degree sideslope .. still WAY better than the standard stay manages

I have a few different size gas struts that I dug out of the skip at work (they were chucked after a refurb on a packing machine, still like new Cool ) could someone let me know the correct length (extended) of the strut req for a TD5, thanks in advance. Thumbs Up and if anyone knows off-hand the minimum & maximum pressure/force of the strut that would be helpful too.
