Check the OS radius arm mount, I had one similar - big impact to the front wheel. It had bent the radius arm chassis mount, radius arm, axle casing and smashed the swivel housing.

If you're set on a manual gearbox you also have the option of the 6 speed GS6-53 from a range of BMW's. Arguably a better box than the T56 and much cheaper and easier to source here in the UK.

Have you put many miles on the Conti’s yet? How are you finding them? I’m thinking of changing from my BFG AT’s as they are woeful when on wet tarmac.
