I am aware certain brand names have been bought by makers of poor quality UJs. Can anyone recommend a current make of UJ that is strong and will not break under heavy usage?
 Your 'Puma' 10 years from now... will it even be a TDCi ?

Motor will be, but may be re-mapped. Also may have an auto box by then Whistle

Are people going above 235 purely for the look?

In my case it's extra height, the tallest tyre you can fit without suspension mod. Also narrower is better in mud.
