Geobloke - basically i got a discovery switch off ebay, a couple of ecu pins and a bit of wire and followed this picture

Slightly off topic, I have a Roverdrive fitted so my cruise control will not work when it is engaged, how do you wire in the speedo healer to work?

I agree with the change of ECU. There is a bigger problem with the change of gearing - manual gearbox has different gearing from auto gearbox. So the speedo healer may not be enough to overcome this.
