well I always believe that using an internal cage without a helmet will ensure severe head injury or death in a crash/roll over
but you seems a big fan of "padding"

I actually did this.
I replaced Radius arms, panhard rod, trailing arms and A frame all at the same time.

just make sure you park your defender on a perectly flat ground. the truck is not moxving ...
