Check the turbo for excessive wear ( too much play in the turbine bearings ) and also look for any oil etc in the induction system, if the intercooler is full of gunk this will effect it.

| Good tip about the harness - I'll leave that til I've tried a couple other things, but worth having in the back of my mind in case it's that and just hasn't travelled all the way down to the ECU yet!

Hmm, gazman mentioned the FPR too. Well, I'll replace the gasket and exhaust manifold since I've ordered those already, and see what she runs like - sounds like the FPR's the next obvious bet!
