i was thinking along those line but a machined peice about 10mm thick with a hole drilled with a union of to a breather or sonething ?

Here are a few pics so you can see were i am upto . The next bit is to pipe clean safe air to this void that can easly fitted and put back to original format for dealer vists!!.

Tightened up my passenger side wing mirror..............what a pain in the ass that was. Dropped 2 of the retaining bolts for the hinge down inside the door card! fixed now though.

It would appear that to date the only way anyone has found to fool the sensor is to leave a hole in the plate
