Just had the IAM Surety scheme on the 'phone who stuck to their word about beating my best quote. Fully Comp now looks like £278 for the year, less than I pay for my 55 plate!  |

You are correct. Perhaps I should've been clearer, Defender aren't Cat 1 which is what insurers want. They are the only model that JLR sell that aren't CAT 1, lord knows why?

UPDATE: Having spent a wearying 35 minutes on the 'phone to NFU I took Steve's advice and called L&V.
It took less than 10 minutes and they quoted £317
