| Yes, thats correct - they also sit flush with the top of the rack so that you can have the box or roof tent near or overhangin the edge of the roof rack if required. All a well thought out system. |

| Flatdog also do some good adaptors that work with roof tents that go on top of the rack or below and give good access to the fixing plates - be worth checking them out if the Thule option doesn't work |
