I'm an BORDA Occupational Off Road Instructor, we always train people to use 2 forms of braking with the gearbox as the primary brake.

When you stop, select 1st or reverse as the gear OPPOSITE the ...

Sorry but I think you will find that anti stall works in 1st & reverse in Low box only. The idle speed in these gears is also increased. It most certainly does not work in all other gears.

Exact age is unknown as my 90 does not have its original roof, but it's a smooth roof. Also the sunroof isn't the rotary handle type from the later Defenders.

The seal on the frame isn't that good ...

The curve in the Land Rover roof is to aid sealing.

I seam to remember that it might have but it never gets opened (I don't like sunroofs but the 90 came with one) & it's been fitted for a few ...

Cutting one will be difficult as there's a very slight curve on them.

If it helps I have the earlier sunroof if you want it, I don't know if the holes in the glass are in the same place but.....

Anti stall works in 1st and reverse gears in low box only. I believe it's fitted to all Tdci models, it's certainly fitted to our County spec USW and works exceptionally well in the Training mode we b ...

I think you'll find it's pretty much normal, my 90 certainly warms its transmission although I don't know the actual temperature. The handbrake will heat up through heat transfer.

Whilst not exactl ...

A friend of mine from Lothian 4x4 Response has a set of the big Paddocks mirrors and swears by them for towing his horses. Maybe a wee bit more wind noise but that's all.

You could lok at the upper shock absorber bushes, you'd get the knocking reverberating through the body. A lower one has just gone on our August 2010 110 so sometimes they don't last long!

Also the pictures show that there is no bracing from thr hitch back to the chassis. I wouldn't want to try and tow 3.5tonnes with that one no matter how pretty it looks!
