| ive ran with cooper stt's for the past 18 months and never had a problem even when used hard offroad, I have just changed from 33x12.50x15 to 35x12.50 and im getting approx 30 mpg on a run. |

that does not sound right - The PUMA has a solid flywheel and is not dual mass. Even the TD5 dual mass flywheel does not have any oil damping.

Took my car in for a 10,000km service yesterday.
Apparently there was a software update that has noticeably improved the mid-range.
Seems to pull much better from 80-120km/h (speedo indicated). ... |

Has anybody had a a suspected flywheel failure? my vehicle is at the dealers at the moment and im waiting for them to confirm. but they suspect the flywheeel has lost its oil in the dualmass jobbie.
