MTF94 has an equivalent viscosity of 75w80. So not different of what you have now.

I personally find they behave much better with Fuchs titan sintofluid SAE 75W-80 than MTF. Not a fan of MTF. It was great in 1996, but the world has moved on.

Last year I have changed oil from some MTF94 compatible to original MTF94 from sealed container and there was big improvement in behavior of the gearbox. So not all MTF94 oils are the same.
