Well it's only taken 6 months  but finally resolved this today.
Ended up being the sender unit in tank, couldn't see an obvious fault, but replacement unit and we're back to a functioning ... |

IPAC is fine, gauge works if plugged into bro in law's puma, his IPAC doesn't work in mine.

I did unplug the cluster for a few minutes and re-connected [just in case] Also disconnected the battery for 10 minutes ... both made no difference.

73 miles later and It's still driving as it should
Does this point towards the sender unit being fine and It's more likely a gauge/wiring issue?? |
