So a load of wd40 and the lock in and out a few times and it's working. I can now turn the key to the lhs then back to vertical and it stays locked, rather than unlocking itself.

So the old barrel (pre 2002 version) has been removed from the rear door latch and a new barrel inserted. i can see the little brass stud pop up so i believe its all installed ok.

I fitted one on my 3.5v8 last year - there are various options as bankz laid out. I went with allisport - not quick but superb quality and worth waiting for. |
