Totally understand what you're saying. Switching the earth (door switches etc) can cause a lot of problems and any dodgy wires create problems. |

Probably best to replace the bare crimp connectors (Pic #7) with shrouded ones for the 12v side of things.
Potentially saves changing fuses at a later date!

Compared to the fuel costs, road tax is a pretty small part of the overall costs.
