| Changed the oil in mine at 150K miles and it certain,y helped, still a bit of a grind into 2nd tho when cold. I think it's a characteristic. Make sure you use the correct oil! And only 2.2 litres. |

| A 2db change is the smallest the human ear detects however, the actual amount of energy wobbling your ear drums is still reduced considerably so maybe it makes for a more relaxing ride anyway.. |

| Need a new pipe on my 2007 but they apparently are out of stock until October! I'll have to have a go at a cut and splice repair. Problem is it's the tank end. |

| Thanks for help chaps. In the end I paid a garage to do it but now I read back through all the thread, I can see the words "must replace bolt", I think they re-used it. |
