mine had checkplate as fitted by Land Rover and they were all rivnuts, looks like they are stainless steel as they have no rust....

| If you go with the Alive lowered springs (-1") and then add in the isolators doesn't that bring them pretty much back to the same height as standard ones? |

They rust because they aren't properly painted on the back when Land Rover manufacture, its the same reason the cappings also rust.

That is a good long list, you need to be careful because they could say you car is dangerous and can't be driven on the road - so they would have to repair it or you would need to get it recovered!!
