No clue what's under it. It's in everyone rear space. I just hated the cheap grey plastic and had the shop paint it gloss black and added the union jack badge for looks. The original looks like:

I had mine painted black along with the bumpers/hood.

I have a roof rack for my LR4 from FrontRunner and it’s great. They just released the Defender racks today. One of them uses OEM rails.

| So far so good. I've only had it 2 weeks but It's a winner. Mine is being "cosmetically modified" at the moment. I definitely post some pics when I get it back in 6 days. |
