Has anyone converted their Puma tdci to an Auto? I wonder how they drive like? I was told that Merc/Chrsyler 5speed Box and the Ford ranger 6 speed Auto Boxes are the best ?

With the 2.2's whats the best way to remove the DPF along with how to get rid off the unnecessary bits which will give it a nice note with out making the engine sound loud?
