 Bouncing Boost Gauge Needle

When I fitted a boost gauge I had exactly the same problem, wobbly needle.
I got the little tube off a WD40 can and put that inside the pipe to the gauge and then tied it really tight with a tie wrap ...
 Another one with worn splines!!

Is it just me or are all the photos missing?
