	I had this problem. Turned out a wire on the float in the diesel pump had broke. Pump out cleaned up and blue wire connected,,bingo.

	I’m actually converting my pickup. So everything is is new and working. I’ve installed the loom and switch and all is powering up fine. Just on the lookout for a motor now.
