It's a very simple fix if you want to do it yourself? (Quite a few youtube videos show how to take it apart)
Remove the lower trim piece, undo the bolt at the bottom and remove the A pillar trim.

I had an approved used Range Rover awhile back, (L405) it had less than 15k on it. (5 years old)
As part of the deal they threw in a service and new MOT ahead of collection.

For those interested, a new A-pillar trim (about 4 parts in total) supplier, painted and fitted is £492.  |

That's what I heard too.
It's an utterly pointless item, purely for trying to make your diesel sound like a V8.
Might as well get a V8 sounds track on a USB and drive around with the windows dow ... |
