United Kingdom 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Fuji White
Cargo Bear

Hi Brendan,

Looking at these racks.

What is the model for a 90? the 1005mm is that 3 rails and infill panels, currently says out of stock?

Which system is the full length for a 90?

Also is there an option to have it powder coated to match the car?

Is there any Def2 discount on these?

Thanks

Chris

Jeez, you’ve mentioned Brendan’s favourite subjects. Bow down Rolling with laughter

I think they look good, but how do you clean the roof?
I guess you just don’t I assume.
Unless there is panels that remove or some other access method. Diu Vivo Magna Britannia!

Ha Ha Im sure he will crop up soon!

To be fair it was night mare cleaning with the old expedition rack so i generally didn't bother. Its so heavy to get on and off quickly it invariably stays on.

The Cargo Bear looks like they would stores easy when off or reduce to just bars for cleaning.

Still deciding but really like the look of them when on.

Oi you lot, behave yourself otherwise it will be heads banged together time along with some force feeding of soap bars! Laughing

The Cargobear is a modular system with many options.

For a 90 there are several options

1) . 1005mm rack is 1 module and flat

2) 1890mm rack, 2 modules and flat

3) 1880mm rack, 2 modules flat 1005mm and sloping front section 875mm

4) . 2075mm rack, 3 modules, 2 x short extensions 1200mm plus front sloping section 875mm

Yes they are in stock.

Now if you want to clean the roof, can take off tread plates. It would be difficult to clean under the cross bars, but remove the clamps and just lift the rack up at an angle and put a spacer under a bar so can clean under the bars.

The Cargo bear is a popular roof rack. Below a photo of the amount of crossbars we have to keep in stock.

We have sent them to many different countries including UAE, Singapore etc. Air freight to those countries does not come exactly cheap Razz

They come black powder coated as standard. Now you could get tthem powder coated to a matching colour of your Defender but that would have to be done at your specialist local coaters.
