transfer box
ok, posting this on behalf of a friend.

can anyone out there tell me the type of transfer box fitted to a 1994 defender 90, 300tdi?

also, does the transfer box off a 300tdi disco of a similar year, bolt straight on?

he is looking to alter the gear ratio's for better road driving. Cheers

Ia a word- YES.

They both have the LT230 box- the housing is all the same, only dfference is the gearing.
