Heater
Ive got a niggle and im not sure how to actually tell if its me.

Heater still kicks out amazing heat and seems to blow well.

I just dont feel its blowing on the face setting as well as it did. But with no way to measure it i cant go to a dealer.

Any ideas? Mike

mse,
Maybe one of the ducts behind the dash has come adrift (plenty of other things on my 90 have come adrift). With the face vents open and the blower running on speed 3, close the vents and listen for a change in blower noise. If there is no change, or maybe just a slight change, I might suspect a duct adrift/leaking behind the dash. I think the best way would be to compare it with another one with the help of a comparator, preferably an anemometer if you can lay your hands on one.

Thats an outstanding idea...ive got an anemometer (im a pilot in another life) just need another to test.

I wonder if the pipe has come off somewhere...worth a look through the inspection points Mike

OK measured the speed of the drivers side round top vent with the passengers side closed;

Speed 1 is 7.5 mph

Speed 2 is 11 mph

Speed 3 is 17.5 mph

I hope this helps.

Let me know if you wanted a different vent measured.
