Iron Man Nitro Cell Suspension Upgrade
Hi Guys,

Ive recently fitted the Iron Man Nitro Cell coil springs and shock absrbers. Ive done approximately 5000km on them and have started to hear a jingle noise almost like im dragging chains on the road at speeds of over 100km/h. Ive had a look under the vehicle but couldnt see anything out of place or loose. My transfer box and clutch have already been replaced with new units so that cant be the problem. What I did notice is the front and rear drive shaft dont line up at the universal joints due to the gain in ride height after fitting the Iron Man suspension. Does anybody else have this issue after installing after market suspension? I will fit the standard coil springs and to see if the noise goes away. Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

Does not fit with the speed that you quote but I have had problems with pea shingle getting into the centre of the front discs and making a jingle as it rattles on the vanes of the vented disc.

DC prop will do the job but you will need a td5 transfere box flange to give Jake a call at Devon 4x4 Thumbs Up

in my experience unless you fit castor corrected arms (which lower the diff nose) you dont need DC props on anything upto and including 2" lift. over 2" lift then yes. Cheers

until you lift a puma, the engine is sitting on an angle to clear the axle which causes the output shaft on the transfere boxto be pointing up and then puts more angle on the prop Wink
