2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey

V8 p425 and p500

So I just ordered a 130 V8 and apparently they have detuned it to p500. They are also offering a V8 p425 which is replacing the p400. So the 6cyl is gone.
A p425 with some options comes up to the same price as the p500 which already has all the options so obviously I went for the 500.

Does anyone know when they changed to 500 and any guesses on why the 6cyl is out and replaced by a detuned V8? 2024 Defender 110 p400e HSE

It really depends on the country you live in. You would have to ask JLR Sweden.
The 130 V8 has always been a P500.
The 6 cylinder P400 is still available, but not in all countries.
