Is my side mirror normal?
Hello all,

I have just got myself a 2022 HSE X-Dynamic. It has the BLIS system in the mirrors but it also has the auto dimming. My drivers side and rear mirror dim at night to reduce the glare but my passenger side doesn't. Is this intentional or has something failed on it? The actual mirror itself looks different and doesn't have the rim around the edge where it seems to dim inside.

Thank you ahead for any help

Yes, that's how they all come nowadays. I was in a 2024 D5 and it was the same - I previously had a 2017 D5 and the passenger mirror was dimming. Cost cutting sucks. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

I never even knew this was a thing, but then I'm not a great one for detail and have no idea about most things that should or shouldn't be on the car and how things work. Embarassed Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

This gives you an idea what these mirror glass is going for. (I know its the DRIVERS side)

Asking £125 on eBay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126267316505?ha...R5T38ambYw

Check you have the wiring inside the mirror housing before committing to any purchase.
