MHEV - BISG Recall

Received a letter over the holidays saying that there have been some issues with the Belt Integrator Starter Generator ( BISG) and that it needs a SW fix to stop it going into Fail Safe Mode.

why cant they do this over the air?

I will get it done obviously

anyone had theirs upgraded and if so how long does it take as the letter doesnt state this. Defender D250 HSE
