Strands siberia sr led light bar with position light wiring

Good day all,

This weekends plan is to fit a Strands Siberia SR light bar that has a position light.
I have the contura switch sussed, i think, but I'm thinking the position light wire (white) from the light bar needs to connect to the sidelight wiring somehow?

I have also have a Stedi light bar on the front which was linked to the head light high beam with an isolation switch to turn it off.

However when I switched the cheap stedi switch to the Contura switch fitted in a Mud housing the ability to turn the light on with high beam has stopped working so any advice here also appreciated.
