Optimil Puddle light wiring diagram.
Been abit of a wally and misplaced the wiring instructions for the optimil puddle lamps connection to the AS10 ecu.
Does anyone have a copy they could take a picture of and send it me?

Much appreciated

I just tapped into the wires going to the front interior light as it goes up the drivers side window channel, much easier. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW

I wired them to near the AS10, I have a Td5 and the plugs are there behind the drivers side speaker. 👍

Cheers

This means the wing mirror lights will come on whenever the interior light is on. Not desirable for some. Wiring to the 10AS unit means they only come on/off with the lock/unlock 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Maybe I should have explained better, the two wires (purple/brown & purple white) from the AS10 go to the interior light to switch it on when you unlock/open the doors, it works exactly the same. They do not come on if you switch the light on only when you open the door or unlock with the remote. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW

Sorry to bring up an old thread!

I’m doing the same but I don’t have factory alarm unit.

Can I just tap into the interior light, cable running up the side pillow?

Cheers guys

Yes you can, but even with no central locking or immobilizer I'm led to believe there is still an AS10 ecu, unless yours is a pre Td5.

I stand to be corrected!
