Got 4.0.0 today, nice to be able to use the satnav off the phone via wireless CarPlay.

Great to read this thread. My car has updated, but I didn't notice the Apple CarPlay sat nav integration as I've been using the Defender's sat nav for this very reason.
Wonder if the Apple info shows in the head up display as well? |

If you have CarPlay connected you have the choice of Apple or Here maps in the drivers display selectable from the navigation tile. Don’t have heads up but from what I’ve seen in other posts the answer is no. In the updates notes it does say that other maps will be available if the providers update their apps. So I guess it’s watch this space 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

Thanks for the reply. To be honest, the HUD map / directions is not that helpful as it's very small. Just getting the info in the driver's display is a big win.

Anyone else had issues with wireless carplay since the update?
After the update I had to reconnect my phone and if I select the carplay icon it goes to phone connection settings not carplay. If I select the phone icon it goes to carplay phone and then I can select other CarPlay apps. All a bit weird. |

I am (and I believe the entire land of the rising sun) is still on 3.2.1

Mine working fine. For those of us with the poverty dash, aka analog TFT, it seems to be a lot quicker when changing from one menu to another, especially the map. A least it does on mine as it took a good few seconds to change. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |
