Wise ones
I'm thinking about using my rear facing Black vue as a reversing camera, so is there such a thing as a signal swap over switch I could use?. I'm also guessing I'd need to flip the image? Any help is much appreciated. Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |

Blackvue used to sell a kit specifically for this purpose, called the "Rearview Kit R-100+R-100L" consisting of a box of electronics (the R-100) together with an LCD screen (the R-100L). It was designed for the DR-650 2-channel series of Blackvue dashcams, and was quite expensive (it is Blackvue, after all). I think it is no longer made, certainly all of the online listings mark it as out-of-stock or discontinued.
As it happens I bought one brand new some years ago but never used it, it is complete, mint, in original box (never been out of the box except for me to have a look at it), and I would happily sell it for an equitable sum if you wanted it. I do not know if it works with other BV cameras than the DR-650 series. In fact, I don't know if it works at all as I have never used it, but it is brand new old stock and came from Blackvue UK.
