Problem lights
Evening all
I’ve installed new Osram led headlights with angel eye DRL
I’ve an issue with one of the lights…….
With Side lights on angel eye comes on both
Then put on main beam angel eye stays on both plus headlight
Then put on full beam and the angel eye goes out on one of the headlight
Switch back to main beam and side light leaving only one of the angel eyes on. Could this be a switch back issue with the headlights?

I'd hazard a guess that your vehicle is fitted with dim dip and it's this system that's creating the issues with your LEDS. Find the large resistor under the drivers wing somewhere in front of the aerial and unplug it, to see if I'm right. Darren

Dim dip was a (largely pointless) safety feature introduced in the 90's whereby the headlights are made to glow when the side lights are on and the engine is running. This is achieved by running the dipped beam bulbs filaments on a reduced voltage by way of a large resistor. Not only did this reduced voltage shorten the life of regular halogen bulbs, it plays havoc with LED's. Darren

Have you swapped the headlights left to right to see if it is a fault with the light units or if it's a wiring fault? Do that first then report back.
