Biggest Tyres on standard suspension
What is the biggest tyres that can be fitted on standard suspension without rubbing. Would 255/85R16 mud tyres fit or would it rub with full articulation?

285 BFG MT`s fit. But sometimes rub the radius arms depending on axle articulation

285's seem ok on mine as well but I do have 8.5inch wheels which are off set.

I have 255/85 on disco steel rims with standard land rover springs. Have yet to notice any rubbing. The springs are fairly new.

The off set of the wheel rims would also effect this , what wheels you planning to use ?

"Mudguards" is exactly the right term in English.
